Harvard Square Homeless Shelter (HSHS)
We are a night shelter that serves 18 guests during both winter and summer seasons. Founded in 1983, HSHS is an emergency shelter focused on getting our guests into long term housing situations. On top of supplying our guests in the space with food, shelter, and case management services, we provide food and other necessities to those on the street in Harvard and Porter Square, as well as clients at the door.

We accept volunteers on a semesterly basis, volunteering on a weekly basis or operating as fill-ins depending on the level of need in the space each week.
